The thoughtful team at African Sensations provided a well-organized trip through Zambia and onto Victoria Falls, with a nice balance of safari, relaxation and other conservation-focused events. The activities were informative and offered a good perspective on local conservation efforts and everyone was communicative and helpful. Our accommodations were excellent—comfortable, interesting, and a highlight of the journey. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. Will definitely use them again.

Our trip with African Sensations was truly the journey of a lifetime. Per our request they included animal refuges and education centers in various areas so we could understand the importance of helping steward the majestic beings and the communities around them. Every day brought a new “wow” moment. What stood out most was the personal care and attention from the African Sensations team. They didn’t just plan a trip; they created an experience that felt tailor-made for us. Their passion for Africa and deep local knowledge shone through in every detail. From start to finish, it was a perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and purpose. My summer trip through Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable planning by my travel arrangers, African Sensations. From the wild beauty of Kafue National Park to the thundering majesty of Victoria Falls—where we stayed at the timeless Victoria Falls Hotel—every stop blended adventure with thoughtful comfort. The focus on wildlife conservation, particularly with elephants and rhinos, gave the safari real purpose and depth. Eastern South Africa brought us back to the bush in style, and the finale in Cape Town, capped with a stay at the elegant Mount Nelson Hotel and a visit to the wine country, was the perfect endnote. Every detail was flawless. A trip of a lifetime.

African Sensations planned our trip to South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We visited these countries with a non-profit organization, Stop Poaching Now. The entire experience was amazing. Throughout the trip we enjoyed five-star hospitality and lodging, delicious food, incredible guides/rangers, and fascinating subject matter experts who educated us along the journey. What made the trip even more special was African Sensations ability to customize the trip not only to our wishes, but also those of the others in our group. They provided a perfect amount of guidance along with the willingness to “listen” and “hear” what each person of the 12-person group wanted to accomplish. I highly recommend African Sensations.

South Africa all over, brilliant experience. Went to South Africa with African Sensations, we travelled all along the Garden Route and saw all the most exciting and beautiful places in that country, would without any hesitation go again.

The best holiday we’ve ever had as a family. We were met at the airport by our guide who stayed with us throughout the trip. We were in a family group travelling to Cape Town to see the Winelands and the fabulous game reserve at Gondwana. The accommodation was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for the staff or tour guide. We were kept informed of our booking and African Sensations went out of their way to ensure we got what we’d requested on every stage of our booking.

Thanks for excellent hospitality, spectacular meals, and very good wines in South Africa; we hope to come back in the not-too-distant future.
